Today I wanted to focus on our "Paisley Dreams" paper from our new Fresh & Fabulous Collection!
Baby Love

Other Supplies used: 12x12 Cardboard sheet, Jaquard Lumiere paint in Pewter, Sakura Gelly Roll pen, Rhinestones, Pop dots
I used an edge distresser around the edges of the Paisley Dreams paper, and I also added a free handed journaling line around the inside of my photos to create an instant frame.
I placed the clear swirl shape onto it's matching swirl cardstock sticker to give it a cool glossy effect. I cut out the birds from the paisley dreams paper and placed them on pop dots to create extra dimension.
The ribbon trim from our summer collection is actually a deep red, but I painted it with a light baby blue paint and sprinkled glitter on top of that.
I painted the transparent "love" letters with acrylic paint and then colored over the dry paint with a blue glitter gelly roll pen.
After painting the transparent letters and shapes, I quickly sprinkled some glitter onto the wet paint to add a little more sparkle!
I adore this new paper and can't wait to show you more projects from our fabulous design team using the new Fresh & Fabulous collection.

Charming Isn't She?
This is a quick and easy page layout to use and the bright and fun colors in our Summer Daze collection look great with a variety of color pictures!
I wanted to add a little sparkle to the title, so I covered our clear plastic letters with Ranger's new Distress Stickles in Broken China.

* Directions:
1. Cut a 12"x12" sheet of Walk in the Park into four 6x6 squares.
2. Place them together in front of you and round the four outside corners.
3. Use an edge distresser to rough up the outside edges.
4. Adhere to background cardstock overlapping one another.
4. Cut a 12x1 1/4" strip from the Flutter By paper, the Walking on Sunshine paper, and another coordinating sheet of patterned paper or cardstock.
5. Use an edge distresser to rough up the the bottom edge of the Flutter By paper.
6. Layer and staple all three paper strips across the middle of the page.
7. Place adhesive on the bottom side of a ribbon strip - then adhere it down to the page while creating a ribbon pleat. Afterward, staple pleats down and add small flowers at the end of each ribbon.
8. Use a brown journaling pen to add journaling around patterned paper and also add a quick hand drawn frame around the inside of the distressed Walk in the Park edges.
9. Dab some glitter glue onto your fingers and gently spread around the cardstock.
10. Create title for page using Flair's Fantastic Plastic and then dress it up by giving a light but complete coat of glitter glue. (Note: Be sure to always do your stickling last so that you don't chance messing it up and then you can just set it aside to dry)

Summer Happiness
I created this layout last week using papers from our new Fresh & Fabulous release which will be debuting later this month. I used the Diva Dots patterned paper for the background of the layout and then tried out a new transfer technique using our Fun & Flirty patterned paper!

* I created this layout for a recent ScrapFriends review of a Design Originals idea book called: Transfers and Altered Images by Chris Cozen. I created a gel skin transfer of our new Fun & Flirty paper and I was very pleased with the results. Here are some close up shots:
I added Ranger's new "Grape" Glitz Stickles to our Summer Time Fantastic Plastic shapes.
I also added a few stickle dots in between the spaces of our pink ribbon trim.
I am so loving this new collection and I can't wait to share more projects with you soon!

I am so excited to share with you our upcoming "Fresh & Fabulous Collection"! With its happy colors and fashion-conscious patterns, this collection is all about being feminine and flirty.
